KEVIN GOW

Kevin Gow began theater acting and performing musically (singing/violin) over 20 years ago. Since then he has continued, and added improv theater and film acting to his repertoire, following university and studies.

​

Originally South African (but having lived in London, Ireland, and now Norway), he is a talented international actor. Performing Arts and creativity is his lifelong passion. He has also qualified and worked for a time as a professional engineer.

​

He draws on a multifaceted background to invoke truthful characters, often tempered by insight and vulnerability. Acting and improv have honed his listening, observation and communication skills on many levels, even using silence -

"This is immensely personal for me, since my dad's stroke when he lost his speech ... we learnt to have a laugh other ways".

​

Kevin has a special voice: now husky and affectionate, now raspy and menacing, now high, now low. It translates as well in carving out dialogue, as in singing and music.

​

He has adopted numerous accents over the years - a side-effect of growing up with an Irish mum and a Scottish dad in Southern Africa. 

​

English is his mother tongue, and Afrikaans and Norwegian are second languages.

​
